Communication Positive communication between school and home is vital to your child’s education. There are several ways you may contact your child’s teacher throughout the school day. –Phone calls: We are not able to answer the phone while there are students in the classroom but you may leave a voice mail and we will return your call as soon as possible. – we check throughout the school day during plan times and before/after school –Notes: you may send a note in your child’s Take Home Folder. Please check your daily for updates on our day Also make sure you check your child’s folder daily!

Progress Reports, Report Cards, and Parent Teacher Conferences Mid-quarter reports will be sent home midway through each quarter to let you know of your child’s strengths and weaknesses on the skills that have been taught. Report cards will be sent home at the end of each quarter. Please keep your child’s report card and sign and return the envelope. (Basically you will receive updates monthly)

Parent Teacher Conferences Fall Parent Teacher Conferences will be October 29th and 30th. This will be a chance for us to sit down together and discuss your child’s progress. On March 26 we hold Student Showcase but it resembles an open house. Your child will show you their work and their learning goal progress.
