What is Lexia? Web based computer programme. Designed to help students improve reading skills. Independent and personal learning pathway. Staff monitor progress and support areas of difficulty.

Follow your access/download instructions. Go to iPad and Android tablet Apps available. Use the address provided to sync with your child’s work in school. Follow your school’s recommended usage time guidelines. Home Access

The Software Supports: Phonics Phonemic Awareness Vocabulary Fluency Comprehension Structural Analysis

Important Points Use a quiet room, free from distractions. Check the computer's sound and headphones. Choose a time when your child is not tired. Encourage 20 minute sessions. Do not help your child. If your child struggles, suggest they try a different activity and notify their teacher.
