1 Annual Title I Parent Meeting
Aug. 20, 2018 10:00am and 7:30pm

2 What Is Title I? Title I is a federally funded program that provides additional instructional opportunities for students who demonstrate that they have some gaps in their learning. Students are then provided with instruction that supports classroom core curriculum and also provides for a “catch-up” format to insure that foundational skills are solidified. Bottom line: additional instruction beyond the core Title I instruction is guided by classroom teachers and delivered by highly- qualified instructional assistants. These services are supplemental to the 90 minute reading block of instruction.

3 How Would My Child Qualify?
When a student demonstrates that there are gaps in learning, we establish other supports for them in addition to the regular core curriculum. Star 360 Assessment Common Assessment in the grade level Teacher recommendation
