Study Island
Homework Your child will receive homework every night, including weekends. They will copy their homework in their agenda books and will be expected to return this signed the next day. Study Island Projects
Weekly Newsletter Every Friday a newsletter will be posted on the Allenwood website. The newsletter will include what was accomplished that week and what skills will be addressed the following week.

Dress Your child is expected to be in their uniform everyday. White collar shirts Navy blue pants or shorts (boys) Navy blue pants, jumpers or skorts (girls) NO accessories (large earrings, belts, colored socks, etc). Shoes should be black or white.
Volunteers We encourage every parent to get involved in their child’s class throughout the school year. Chaperoning, classroom assistants, special activities. At home – working with your child on homework assignments. Share your expertise with the class Join the PTA

Conferences There will be at least one scheduled conference throughout the year. If you want to request a conference, notify your child’s teacher.
Safety If you are to visit Allenwood, you must first stop by the office, sign in, and get a visitor's badge. If there is a change in your child’s dismissal, please notify us in writing.
Toys / Money Do not allow your child to bring anything of value to school. This includes electronics, games, money, etc.
