1. Welcome 5 th Grade Curriculum Night

2. Start Time Our doors open at 7:20 each morning. Students may eat breakfast or report directly to classrooms. Instruction begins promptly at 7:45.

4. Take Home Folders Folders will be coming home everyday with homework, notes, and graded work. Please take out graded papers each week. Please make sure these are coming back each day.

5. Report Cards Progress reports and report cards will be electronic this year unless other arrangements have been made. Please make sure to update your e-mail address and other information with the district. If you don’t have access to Home Access Center, please contact the office for your information.

6. Behavior Expectations We follow the Personal Behavior and Study Skills expectations stated on the report cards each six weeks. You can monitor your students behavior through Dojo. Conduct grades will be determined by Dojo.

7. Homework Math assigned weekly. Make sure it is done by Friday, ready to go over in class. Spelling needs to be studied all week, homework will be due by Friday. Tests will be on Friday. Science homework will be assigned as needed. Due dates will vary. Students are encouraged to read 30 minutes each night.

10. Lunch & Birthday Info. Lunch: Please make sure you are sitting at the parent tables with your child when eating lunch with them. It is policy that you only eat with your student, other students are not allowed to be invited to the table. This is to keep your child and others safe. Birthdays: They are celebrated at the end of the day (2:20 ish).
