Blanton Elementary

Please or call by 1:45, or send a written note about change in transportation for your child. Students will not be called out of class after 2:20. If you choose not to drop off your child in the line then please pull through to the parking spots, and walk your child across the cross walk. To minimize classroom interruptions only lunchboxes and eyeglasses will be delivered to the classroom by the office. Please don’t worry if your child leaves their folder, homework, water bottler, or even their snack. Business First…

Do not use cell phones while driving on school property. You will receive a ticket. Walkers will not be dismissed to cars in the parking lot. For your child’s safety we advise that you do designate a location to meet your walkers or bikers. Do not park in Madison to pick up your child. Parents may not drop off students at the back of the building. By law buses and cars must be separated. Parents need to stay in their car during parent pick up. More business

Students who make good choices can take home Corrie, our class dog. Our class works hard every day to earn marbles for our Party Jar. When the jar is completely full, we will have a class party to celebrate. Students can also earn tickets to spend on different prizes in the classroom. Classroom Management

We use kind words and actions. We raise our hand to speak. We listen when others are speaking. We take care of our things. Our class defined each rule to identify our class’ expectations! Then we all signed the rules to show our agreement and promise to follow them. Our Class Rules
