PRAXIS I –Basic Skills: Reading, Writing, and Math –Dates: See handout (Can be taken throughout the United States)

PRAXIS I –Computer-based ($$??) –Paper Test ($$??) –For reimbursement, MUST SUBMIT COPY OF ADMISSION TICKET TO DR. JENNINGS THE WEEK IMMEDIATELY AFTER THE TEST

Student Teaching Blocks August Observation: 2 nd or 3 rd week of August First three days of school (for public schools) 7:45am – 4:00pm Observe how teachers set up rules and routines Keep a journal of observations

Student Teaching Blocks Intro to Student Teaching (2 week seminar) Four Week Block Journals/lesson plans Eight Week Block Journals/lessons/2 week unit Six Week Blocks Journals/lessons/1 week unit at each site (NOTE: During student teaching, you will follow the spring break schedule of your cooperating school NOT the Hendrix spring break schedule)
