South Carolina State requirement for all Teacher Education candidates. 
Exempt if ACT = 24+ or SAT = (old SAT = 1100+).

Faculty meet at end of semester to discuss candidates progress in program. Faculty pay attention to grades, skills (in particular communication skills), and dispositions (such as attitude, dress).

Writing intensive courses
USC Salk teacher candidates will need to complete a minimum of two (2) WI designated courses.
These are scheduled as part of the Professional Program Sequence (Math & SS Methods).
