PROMOTE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT  PROMOTE and conduct an evening session for the general public dedicated to leadership.  CONDUCT a session from the Leadership Excellence Series (Members benefit by presenting!)  SPEAK outside your club (Rotary, community events), encouraging people to visit a TM club in their neighbourhood or workplace. SUGGESTIONS.

WHY DO MEMBERS LEAVE?  Too many other commitments Suggest a break to take care of commitments. Check back with them in a few months to see if they are able to come back.  Inconvenient meeting time. Help them to find another club that works for them. CHECK IN WITH YOUR MEMBERS!

WHY DO MEMBERS LEAVE?  Pressure to work too quickly. Encourage members while allowing them to work at their own pace.  Relocation. When a member moves away, suggest they look for a club close to their new home. CHECK IN WITH YOUR MEMBERS!

RECRUITING FORMER MEMBERS  Call members who did not renew their dues in October or April and ask them to return.  Call your former club members and ask them to return to your club.  Members are happy to know that they have been missed by their club! RE-MEMBER YOUR MEMBERS!

 Don’t hold off on submitting your awards until next year! Submit all CC, CLs and ACB, etc.  Submit your new membership applications today – members do not have full access to the toastmaster site until they are a member!  Thinking about joining that Advanced club? Do it now!  Do you have an idea for a new toastmaster club? Don’t wait! Call Lorraine today to get started! WHOA!
