AS Design and present a solution for an Architectural design brief Sample 1 – Not Achieved

Commentary This submission does not meet the requirements of explanatory note 10. Explanatory note 10; In the presentation of design ideas, the student needs to use a selection from the following: –graphic modes that may include computer applications, other technological applications, mock-ups, models and the range of conventional, non-computer drawing and sketching methods –graphics media that may include pastels, airbrush, screen printing, colour pencils, collage, felt pens, paint, gouache, card, paper-making –presentation skills may include precision, accuracy of layout, neatness and tidiness, effectiveness, execution of techniques, composition, use of negative space, typography. The range of media used throughout the presentation is very narrow. The level of freehand drawing is at a low level; there is no crating, use of thin/thick lines. The design process and annotation are at reasonable levels and issues that relate to architecture and links to the designer have been covered. The drawing and presentation skills keep this to the level of Not Achieved.
