NAIFA Member Benefits Brief: Leaders Edition – June 2011 Dear NAIFA Leader—NAIFA National is pleased to launch a new initiative to assist you in communicating the value of NAIFA membership utilizing NAIFA Member Benefits. Each month you will receive an e-flyer that highlights a specific product, program or service offered through NAIFA. It will include a direct link to the NAIFA website for the featured benefit, a PowerPoint slide that can be used at local meetings or presentations, and a flyer that can be downloaded and printed for distribution as a marketing piece. 17

Cooperative Advertising Program Rules The LIFE Foundation will refund a state or local NAIFA association 50 percent of its advertising expenses incurred when placing any of LIFE’s ads in consumer publications as part of Life Insurance Awareness Month (LIAM) in September The maximum refund allowed is $2,000 per association. When applicable, production costs such as ad resizing will be an additional expense to be paid by the state/local association. Participation in LIFE’s Co- op Program and subsequent reimbursement require adherence to all program rules. Any deviation from these rules will result in no advertising reimbursement. 22
