 India is located in Asia  It is between Pakistan and Nepal  The state capital is New Delhi  Population: billion  Official language is Hindi and English

 Green is hope, joy and love.  White is peace  Saffron is the symbol Of Indian courage  Blue is loyalty and perseverance.

 Religion: Hinduism  Beliefs: in fertility and Shivaa, a deity who happens to be a woman that they believe brings good harvest and power.  Values: family, elders, education, and marriage

 Andhras: live in south east india known for their sweet language and long hair  Gonds: they are tribal and have their own religion called Gandwana

 They are native to their land.  1526 was a powerful nation and established Munghal empire ran by Babur.  European explorers' came to India and fought for goods.  British had control for a while in 1600s  1947 they won independence with a non- violent protest led by Mahatma Gandhi

 Homeless people and poverty  United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) killing laborers since this is slowing down though.

 No I wouldn’t want to live here for the fact that some of the things that the see in every day life I wouldn’t like to see at all and plus I wouldn’t want to feel marginalized at all.

 Marina: called the invisible tribe because there is no way to know who is actually of the group or not.  Betsileo: inhabit that plateau and have indunisian heritage  Tanala: the tree people or people who live in the forests

 2000 years ago they were visited by indian people and also some from south africa came over sothere are som mixed heiratiges.  They traded with europe and also helped the french fight in both ww1 and 2.

 There are some conflicts between different sub cultures and tribal problems

 They both were the same to me. I liked how both treated the elders with the most respect an were very family oriented.  Also some of the customs like painting your body and dancing sounded fun to me.

 Probably not. I think I would visit for a few weeks maybe but I would never ever live there. I think that it would be hard to adapt to their way of life.

 Well no I actually would love to live in Kenya. It seems so friendly there and I can already speak Swahili. It would be a great opportunity to get to experience another way of life different to my own but bearable.
