What are the two ways an amendment can be proposed? It must pass Congress by a 2/3 vote, both House and Senate It must be approved by a convention called by Congress because 2/3 of the states requested the amendment be proposed

What component of ALD is shown in the amendment process? How? Federalism, proposals are done at the national level and ratification is done at the state level

In what article does the US assume the debt of the confederation? Why? Article VI, this gave legitimacy to the new nation by showing foreign states that it will honor commitments as well as the men who lived in the US that had loans out to the confederation

What does the supremacy clause mean and where is it found? National law trumps state law if they differ, Article VI
