You child is very excited about their class being chosen to pilot this program, and we want you to be a part of this exciting new adventure, too! Yearbooks Yearbooks are now on sale! Order before December 20 to receive the Early Bird Discount of $18. To preorder, send in cash or money order to your child’s teacher or order online with a credit card at using the ID Code: Yearbooks will also be on sale next week during both STEM Nights. Reading/Lang. Arts – Mrs. Fulton In Reading this week, we will be focusing on point of view by determining the point of view of the main character or the narrator in a story. Here are some questions to ask when you are reading with your child: 1.How does the character feel about …? (something that happened in the story) 2.What in the story shows that this is how they feel? How do you know? What did the character do? 3.What lesson did the character have to learn in the story? 4.What is the character’s point of view about this lesson? (Is it important, impossible, crazy, etc.?) 5.Is your point of view about this lesson the same or different than the main character’s? Why? In Language Arts, we will be finishing up with verbs (verb tenses, irregular verbs, and noun-verb agreement) with a quiz on Monday. Then we will be working on adjectives. Your child should know the basics of what a noun, verb and adjective are!
