MIX Radiothon Each Year MIX hosts a Radiothon benefiting the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center. Last year’s event raised over $867,000! This year, Radiothon will be held over the course of 2 days, Feb 27th – 28 th and we have raised more than $14.6 million to date! MIX IS PROUD OF THEIR EFFORTS BENEFITING THE JOHNS HOPKINS CHILDREN CENTER DURING RADIOTHON! MIX Listeners  60% Women, 40% Men  80% are between the ages 18 and 54  72% are homeowners  51% have household incomes of $75,000+  59% have at least one child living at home

WHAT IS THE JOHNS HOPKINS CHILDREN’S CENTER? The Johns Hopkins Children’s center is a 205-bed facility within the Johns Hopkins medical institution. It serves as Maryland’s only acute care hospital for children. Annually, 9,000 patients and 64,000 outpatients are seen by more than 30 pediatric subdivisions of the Children’s Center. No child is ever turned away because of an inability to pay for medical care. The Johns Hopkins Children’s Center provided 5.3 million in charity care last year. In real life terms, corporate sponsorship provides:  Playrooms where children can relax.  Wagons instead of stretchers or wheelchairs for transporting children.  Sleep chairs for parents so they can room with their children. These programs and services help children stay children even when they are fighting for their lives they are fighting for their lives…
