A Verb is a word or group of words that express action, shows a state of existence, or links the subject (usually the doer of the action) to the rest of the sentence Example: Action verb 1.Brad jogs every morning before work. 2. I drive to my friends house every weekend to hangout.

A Verb Phase is several words working together as a verb. Example: She has went home. He will come back soon. They should have went to the mall earlier. A Verbal is a word formed from a verb but functioning as a different part of speech Forms of a verb ending in –ing are called gerund. Example: John is working on a major project for work.

To show past tense, most verbs have –ed or –d which are added to the base form. Ex:(talked, walked, jumped) Example: Bryan had yelled so loud, that the neighbors heard it. An infinitive is a verbal formed by placing the word to in front of a simple present form of a verb. Ex:( to swim, to think, to be) Example: Kenya was suppose to go camping but when out with friends instead
