Sacagawea by Katie Swan Sacagawea is a hero because she helped Lewis and Clark with the expedition to find their way in a new land. She had to take care of a baby as well as helping out with the expedition. I chose Sacagawea as my hero because she helped Lewis and Clark make the expedition successful and have good relations with the Indians.
