2 What you need to know What has changed? –New look and feel –Help function on each page of the submission process –Ability to search for positions via Job Grade –Ability for ConocoPhillips employees to upload a resume or Career Express Profile Please continue to update your profile in the Development Tools section of Career Express before you submit to a position –Ability to save submissions in the “Draft” status –Ability to “Quit” the submission process at any time –Each employee has a JOB PORTAL Provides up-to-date tracking and information on where you are in the submission process Ability to view all correspondence online

3 Basic Job Search

4 Basic Search Job search tab allows you to perform basic and advanced searches and save up to five searches. Each page has help and tips. Select Advanced Search to search opportunities by Job Grade and other values. Job Number and Keyword searches.

5 Advanced Search Enter job grade; to search multiple grades simultaneously, separate grades with a comma. For example:12, 13, 14.

6 Search Results Employees have the ability to configure how they want the data returned. “Google” return of information: Review job description by clicking the title. Click apply to begin the application process. Click add to my job cart to save this job to apply later. Visual cues for employees to aid navigation.

7 Saving a search Select “Save this Search” Name the search. To view saved searches, select “My Saved Searches.

8 Saving a search – viewing the Query Number of available searches. Criteria used. Select the Title to re-run the search. Action line to “see” the search results or “delete” the search Date search last run.

10 Applying to a position To apply, click the job description or the apply link. Click “Apply Online” to proceed. Ability to send this opportunity to a friend or colleague.

11 Applying to a position Personal Data Privacy Statement. Click ‘Continue’ to move forward.

12 If you choose, you may attach a copy of your Career Express Profile as an Adobe Acrobat PDF or a Resume / CV in Microsoft Word. Note: The document you provide will be an addendum to your Job Submission. To update your work experience for future job applications, please update your information in the Development Tools section in Career Express. Uploading a resume To create an Adobe Acrobat PDF file of your Career Express Profile, you must first do the following in the Development Tool section of Career Express. Select “‘My Profile” Select “Print My Profile” Select “File” Save as a “PDF” file onto your computer To attach the copy of your Career Express Profile as an Adobe Acrobat PDF or a Resume / CV in Microsoft Word, click "Browse" to the left and select the relevant file.
