Program Preparation Getting to/from the Airport – participants will be picked-up and dropped off at the airport Once you arrive – clear passport control & then claim your baggage You will be met at the main arrivals area What to Expect When Abroad – take a look at your daily schedule draft, make a note of free time for shopping, & seeing friends etc. Most mornings begin with breakfast at the hotel and then meeting your group for professional visits or cultural activities.

Program Preparation Money Matters – polish currency is called zloty. 1USD = 3 zlotys. You can use Visa/ Mastercard almost anywhere, but best to keep some cash available. Safe & recommended to exchange smaller amount of US dollars at places called “KANTOR”, can also withdraw from ATMS (beware fees.) Money/General Safety – keep personal belongings safe and be aware of pick-pockets. Use money belts & hotel safes. Field-trips, hotels, all meals included in price. Need money for shopping/personal plans.

Program Preparation Packing – pack light! Do not bring too many bags. 1 suitcase and 1 carry-on should be enough. You will be traveling from city to city via a private bus, although assistance will be provided in loading the bus etc., there may be times you have to pitch-in. Dress is business casual. Weather will be cool. Electronics – no laptop needed/phone / request international coverage. Beware roaming fees.
