Take Control So I posted it again on LinkedIn, which I shared to Twitter and thus it has come to FB. In my opinion the reason why schools do not teach students about network marketing, MLM and direct sales is that they don't want students to succeed. The government pushes students to get into debt with them for huge amounts of money. What would the government do if they didn't put out as many student loans IF the schools were to teach high school kids about different career options? The government would lose a lot of money, because these student loans need to be paid back eventually, in Canada six months after you graduate from college or University. So I posted it again on LinkedIn, which I shared to Twitter and thus it has come to FB. Perhaps as a society we need to re-think what we are educating our kids with, and start giving them Entrepreneurial Skills to be successful in life. Chain reaction guys and gals! When are schools going to start teaching their kids about network marketing, MLM and direct sales?

Defining Pyramid As a Network Marketer I have heard this term many times over the past three years. ‘Pyramid’ means there is one person at the top that recruits someone and it goes down the pyramid like this to reach the bottom. Where there is not a product for people to use or sell it would then be a pyramid scheme and that is illegal. If there is a product then this is called business. So for example you look at a grocery store chain, there is the owner of this business and he hires managers and the manager hires staff. This store is so successful they now open up another chain and hire more staff. This is a pyramid, yet it is legal because there is a product involved, groceries. Now take this example, you read in the newspaper a stay at home make money advertisement. They are asking for you to send them $29.99 in a self addressed stamped envelope and they will send you information on how to make money at home. You wait for weeks yet you receive nothing in the mail. This is a pyramid scheme that is illegal. I see so many people jumping from one company to another and floundering to try and make money fast. When people join a company their excitement is quite high and within a few that signed them up that they will begin making money right away. They have been told how to promote this new opportunity on all forms of Social Media. The problem is that they have not been properly educated about the ‘product’ and how to promote it. I find that in educating people it can help others in not falling into a scheme that will not only lose you money but precious time.
