3 Make sure you talk about the other person’s expectations before they join. You have to set the adequate expectations for everyone that joins © by X-Academy Network Your responsibility as leaders and as recruiters is to make sure that you set the right expectations for the people your bring in your team You have the responsibility to be open and honest with people and tell them what they need to expect Remember this: Broken expectations damage relationships!!!

5 A clear distinctive characteristic between leaders and good sales people is that leaders care about the expectations of the prospective new team member, while in contrast sales people only care to sell and get the commission Be a true leader – care for the other’s expectations. Don’t just sell for a commission. Short term you make money. Long term you loose more than money. You can lose a relationship!

7 1.The “student” phase (1 year) – this is the phase where I learn the dynamics of the industry and I learn the business itself. It can take less than 1 year if I have been working in MLM before. But If someone is new to this industry it can take up to one year to learn this, since most people here will start part time and not full time. They spend four years in college getting a degree and most of the times they don’t even work in the field they graduated from. They need to give themselves one year to learn this, one year in which they also work and earn money. In this stage the person starts to interact with Robert Kiyosaki, Big Al Tom Schreiter, Napoleon Hill, John Maxwell, Anthony Robbins and others like them. They start to realize that there is something else out there than what they have been taught in the traditional education. At this stage we learn how to deal when hundreds of people say NO to us. This is very difficult and it certainly is challenging. But it gives you great education since rejection teaches you and makes you better. © by X-Academy Network

8 This may also differ if someone has experience in the MLM industry or is good in sales. At this stage, you certainly don’t treat the industry as a hobby, but as a real business with the right mindset. Bottom line is that in 3 years your life can change significantly in many areas: personal growth, financial education, entrepreneurial education, public speaking, awareness etc. © by X-Academy Network 2.The “real change” phase (3 years) – this is the phase where, depending the country you live in, your income in the MLM industry exceeds your income in your regular job. However this is different depending on the country where you live in. In some countries this is possible in 6 months. In other more developed economically countries this may take a while.

9 3.The “professional networker” phase (5 years) – this means you are full time obviously. The MLM is not a hobby for you. This is what you do 100%. Here you are a leader, you know how to build teams, you have a good passive income and a good network. You don’t just sell, you make and create a system of work in which you change people’s lives. Usually at this point your network should be strong enough to sustain itself when and if you retire. At this stage public speaking is something you get good at and you start to master the skill of public speaking. Some of the things you read in your first year – the “student” stage – now start to kick-in and you start to realize you live them out in your life. You are well organized, efficient in your work, a person whom people follow. © by X-Academy Network

10 4.The “expert” phase (7 years) – this is the phase where you are so good that if anyone hires you to go and talk about this topic anywhere in the world you can do it. At this point, you need to master the English language if you want to be world class. You have to be able to make good English presentations and MLM is in your blood to say so. If you did your job well in the first 5-6 years, at this point you do this because you enjoy it, you don’t do it for the money. The figures you make at this point are huge and you are beyond the retiring point. Now you are among the best. If you have not reached 1 million dollars from network marketing yet, you are surely going to do it soon. This mainly applies if you stick with one company for a long term. Here you have knowledge to write books and maybe even start your own academy of training others if you choose to do that. © by X-Academy Network

13 Funny many people spend 4 years of their lives getting a college degree and don’t work in the field in which they graduate. However I don’t see anyone going back to their school to ask for their money back because they are not making money in the field of studies. Isn’t it amazing how many people do the opposite in the MLM industry. They invest a small amount (compared to how much you spend in school), both in time and in money. If it does not work in a couple of weeks or months they give up and say they lost money. Does that sound logic? Why don’t we apply the same rule which we apply for our traditional education? The learning experience is more than enough and we should be satisfied with that. © by X-Academy Network

14 It is going to be a Get Rich Quick Business I will not have to work hard and money will come Talk to a few people every week and your paycheck will increase I just need 3 people and the rest is a walk in the park Everyone around me will be excited I found the opportunity of a life-time My sponsor / upline will do all the work, I will just reap the benefits in no-time My close friends & relatives will all join here with me The Wrong Expectations © by X-Academy Network

15 Most of your family and friends will NOT jump on board with you. Don’t be addicted to the outcome!! The results will come, just focus on getting better and doing what you are doing well. If you always focus on the outcome you will experience major frustration The best in the industry have a close rate of about 30%, 10% is average and if you’re just beginning this might be more around 5%. Consistency is KEY!! Be consistent no matter what you do If you have new costumers in your first week and you only talked to 5 people, don’t think it will be like that the weeks to come and don’t settle for 5 only. Keep this up and you will quit soon… Network Marketing involves heavy work and great persistence Don’t ever “fall in love” with someone’s potential – just because someone has potential that does not mean he / she will make a difference in your business CONSIDER THE FOLLOWING…. © by X-Academy Network
