Hungary (Oxford)

Hungary is a small country in the middle of europe Hungary is a small country in the middle of europe. Our capitul is Budapest. Hungarian on symbol is the flag witch is red, white, green and the coat of arms. We have got famous sights for example Heroes square, Chain bridge, Esztergomi Basilic, Fisher Bástya.

Sights

Weather In Hungary the climate is very pleasant but varie, becose there are four seasons. In summer the sun is shinning and weather is warm in autumn the wind blows there is frequent rain and cloudy sky. In spring the sun is shunning but you must wear the jumper because sometimes the wind blows. In winter the snow falls. I do not really like this season because every day it is too cold . It often rains in hungary at biginning of spring and in autumn.

People are kind and friendly an host/table but not too funny and bit pessimist. However this people like good weddings parties. Hungry on people are clever, we have got many famous inventors for example Szent Györgyi Albert when he invented the C-vitamin.The Hungarian’s invent the match,ball pen, Rubik’s Cube.

Dos and Don’ts When man greet they always shake hands, but the women shake hands only the first time when they meet.They usually give kiss on the cheek. Hungarians often give two kisses.Sometimes they nod when they are far away. When you talk with somebody you should see into his or her eyes. The hungarian people like eating, but they dont speak when they eat. We never clink glasses with beer, it is rude.

Eating Our foods are very spicy because we often use salt caraway seed, pepper and red pepper.We often eat meat,poultry and pork but we sometimes eat fish and beef.We usually eat soups our traditional soups are the chicken soup goulash soup and the fish soup.Traditional dishes are stubbed cabbage,noodlies with poppy seeds,poatoes with pepper,breaded cheese with tartar sauce,plum dumbling and the pancake We have got famous drinks for example wine ,aqua-vitae and we also like the beer.

S p o r t s Hungarian people do sport a lot.We are good at water sports .Our water polo team is the best in the world.We are good at swimming.We are very good at handball, kayak discuts throw,canoeing,pentathon.We are getting better and and better at. Ferenc Puskás was our better football player. He played in the gold team.

Travelling In Hungary we travel by bus,taxi, car,bicycle or on foot.Unfortunately we can travel by suway only in Budapest. Most people travel by bus and by car but less and less people travel by train.The bus is cheap buti t isn’t as fast as the car.You must by ticket if you want to travel by bus.We can drive ont he motorway and we can drive at speed of 130km/hour.People drive ont he right side on the road.We are allowed to drive a car under the age of 17.We can’t drive a car because we don’t have a driving licence.The most convinient way of travelling int he country is the taxi but it is very expensive .You can go by bicycle.It is easy to use you don’t need a driving licence and petrol

Flats and houses The most people in Hungary live in blocks of flats int he city but in the village people live in houses with garden.In our country we haven’t got skyscraper because Hungary is not too modern.

Shopping People buy their clothes in department stores with usually big with 2-or 3 floors. It is good because you can try the clothes on in the changing room.There are street market but you can’t try the clothes on but it is cheaper then the department stores. You exposed to the weather so if it rains you can get wet. These people aren’t fashion victims but they try to keep pace with the latest fashion.In Hungary there are a lot of hypermarkets and a lot of supermarkets and we have got alot of markets where women buy fresh fruit and vegetables.Most Hungarian people buy fresh fruits for example bread ,milk, roll atc. Every day .We don’ often eat made foods they cook every day so we sometimes go to the rastaurant but nowadays many people go to the fastfood restaurant but they sell jung food and it is not healthy.
