4. Sport Targeting Review

Purpose

Two-fold

To elevate the quality of support for a fewer number of performance sports, engaging in purposeful sporting partnerships, and creating an enhanced environment of excellence for UBC’s coaches, student- athletes and Athletics Department employees.

To boost the opportunities, leadership, education and support for a broader number of sports at the competitive club, community club and intra-mural levels, reaching out to more UBC students and increasing physical activity and social connections through regular, sporting participation and competition.
