Two Bronx-based nonprofits… GIS on a limited budget Started mapping with street addresses-- as technology improved, maps were built on blocks and lots Primary function: Help make local improvements to transportation infrastructure, green spaces, and affordable housing development

University Neighborhood Housing Program Community Resource Guide- /crg.html Assists community development staff to quickly locate useful community-specific data online. Early maps used ArcExplorer-- now thanks to a grant, they use ArcGIS 8
