Latin America Possible WWIII: U.S. troops assembled in Florida and the world prepared for nuclear war. After 13 days Khrushchev agreed to remove missiles, only if U.S. never invades Cuba. – Missile Crisis Over! Cuba became dependent on Soviet support.
