Micro-teaching is a technique, developed by A. W. Allen, Stanford University,1963. It is a scaled down process or teaching ie; it requires short time [ 5 to 10 mins.], short group [ 5 to 10 students], simple content, single teaching skill. Micro-teaching skill is used to develop a single teaching skill. MICRO-TEACHING

CORE TEACHING SKILLS The skills that are used extensively in routine teaching by a teacher. These skills are known as Core Teaching Skills. Many experts in this field have listed 10 skills as core teaching skills.

LIST OF CORE TEACHING SKILLS 1. Skill of introducing a lesson. 2. Skill of blackboard writing. 3. Skill of promoting pupil’s participation. 4. Skill of reinforcement. 5.
