DSM-IV DEFINITION (1) “MENTAL DISORDER IS A CLINICALLY SIGNIFICANT BEHAVIORAL OR PSYCHOLOGICAL PATTERN THAT IS ASSOCIATED WITH PRESENT DISTRESS OR DISABILITY.”
