Playground Rules

You must wear tennis shoes to participate in P.E.

Keep your hands, feet, and other objects to yourself.

Do not bring toys or other items to class (your pockets should be empty).

Do not pick up or play with anything on the ground such as sticks, rocks, pinecones, & sand.

You may not climb the fence for any reason.

Return all equipment (balls, jump ropes, hula hoops) to their designated place when finished.

You must have permission to leave the Playground area.

Swing Set Do’s and Don’ts One person at a time on the swings Do not twist the chains of the swings. No one should push another child in the swings. Do not stand in front of, beside, or behind someone swinging.

Monkey Bars & Pull Up Bars Start at the end furthest away from the fence. One person at a time on the bars. Do not sit/stand on top of or swing upside down on the bars.

Slide One person at a time on the slides. You must slide with your feet first sitting on your bottom!!! Climb up the ladder not the slide. Throwing sand or other objects on the slide is NOT permitted. Do not jump down from the top of the slide.

Water Fountain Do’s &Don’ts Do not play in the water. Do not place your mouth on the water dispenser. Do not spit in the water fountain PLEASE! Get as much water as you need before the whistle blows.
