Line The path of a moving point through space

Curved Lines

The expressive value of line Vertical lines are static or inactive, they appear to be at rest. They express stability. Horizontal lines are static, they express feelings of peace, rest and quiet. Curved lines express activity, due to their changing direction. The less active the line the calmer the feeling Diagonal lines express instability, tension, activity and excitement. Zigzag lines create confusion, excitement and nervousness.
