Vegetable Stir Fry with Noodles Learning Intentions To carry out a healthy cooking method to prepare a healthy meal. To look at how we can get more portions of fruit and vegetables into our diet.

2 Ingredients 1 x 5ml spoon soy sauce 1 x 10 ml spoon cornflour 45 mls water 1 piece of red pepper 1 piece of yellow pepper 1 piece courgette 1 piece of carrot ½ small onion, sliced Few mushrooms 2 x 15ml spoon oil 2 layers of noodles

Ingredients

4 Vegetable Stir Fry – Step One Carrot - thin batons Pepper – sliced Courgette – sliced, then quartered Onion - sliced In a small bowl, mix together 10ml of cornflour, 5ml of soy sauce and 45mls of water.

5 Vegetable Stir Fry - Step Two Fill a large pan ¾ full with water, bring to the boil. Add 2 layers of noodles to the pan when water is boiling and cook for 4 minutes.

6 Vegetable Stir Fry – Step Three Measure the oil into a frying pan. Test with a piece of onion. Once the oil is hot, add all of the vegetables.

Vegetable Stir Fry – Step Four Add the cornflour mixture to the vegetables and cook for a further 2 minutes. Then add the noodles to the vegetables and mix well. The stir fry is ready to be served.

End of Lesson Tasks to complete:- Complete all washing up. Clean cooker and sink area. Check cupboards and cutlery trays. Complete Progress File
