Registration It is possible to register for access to Energia Online via the homepage. Complete the relevant fields for registration; , Name, Account ID, Bill Number, Bill Due Date, Contact Number. Once all fields are filled in select ‘Register’. This will send your information to Energia and you will receive an with your temporary password. Registration 1

Login Login using your address and the temporary password, which you will have received after registering. Once you have logged in you are required to enter in a search term, you can search by: Person ID. Account ID. MPRN. Login 2 Test Account

Change Password Once you have logged in initially it is possible to change your password; this can be done by selecting the arrow beside your address on the top right of the screen, and selecting ‘Change Password’ from the dropdown menu. You will be prompted to enter your old password and then your new password twice, you can then use your newly created password to login in the future. Change Password 3 Test Account

Energia Plus 4

Energia Plus customer you will have the following options available on the homepage; View Bill. Meter Readings. View Usage. Energia Plus 5 Test Account

View Bill Selecting “View Bill” will provide an overview of all bills for your account; you can also download your bills in Excel or PDF formats. Clicking the “Filter” button allows you to view bills by date range and it stores bills up to 3 years provided you were an Energia customer for that time View Bill 6 TEST ACCOUNT Test Account

View Bill An alert box will be displayed if you choose to download either the PDF or Excel format. Selecting “OK” will automatically download the bill. View Bill 7

If you need to quickly check your bill amount and payment options without downloading simply click “View Summary”. This will display your Account ID, Account Name, MPRN/GPRN, Site Address, Payment Amount, Payment Date and Payment Source. View Bill 8 TEST ACCOUNT Test Account

Meter Readings Meter Readings will enable you to view and submit Meter Reads for a particular MPRN/GPRN. Put an * in the box and this will display all the MPRNs/GPRNs associated with that account. Select the relevant one and click View to see what types of meter readings have been submitted and when or Submit to submit a new reading. Meter Readings 9 Test Account

To view all Meter Reads, enter your MPRN/GPRN. this will provide you with an overview of the Meter Read information. View Meter Reads 10 TEST ACCOUNT Test Account

Submit a Meter Read To submit a Meter Read, enter the MPRN/GPRN and select ‘Submit’, You will be provided with an overview of the Meter Serial Number, Meter Read Sequence, Timeslot and enable you to enter your Meter Read. Submit a Meter Read 11 TEST ACCOUNT Test Account

View Usage View Usage will enable you to display consumption between a date range on screen or export to CSV. The consumption will be displayed on screen showing a monthly basis and include the Rates Schedule, Day Units and Total Units. To display the usage on screen, you must enter the Consumption Start Month, Consumption End Month, select ‘Display on Screen’ and select ‘Display’. View Usage 12 TEST ACCOUNT Test Account

Export Usage to CSV To export the usage, you must enter the Consumption Start Month, Consumption End Month, select ‘Export to CSV’ and select ‘Display’. The consumption will be displayed in a CSV file showing the Account, Account Name, Site Address, MPRN or GPRN, Consumption Month, Rates Schedule, Day Units and Total Units. Energia Premium If you are an Energia Premium customer you will have the following options available: View Bill. Meter Readings. Go To Premium. Energia Premium 15 Test Account

View Bill View Bill will provide an overview of all bills for the Account or Account site. View Bill 16 TEST ACCOUNT Test Account

View Bill If you click on a particular Total Bill Amount within the Account Site section, it will provide an overview of the bill and payment; this will display the Account ID, Account Name, MPRN/GPRN, Site Address, Payment Amount, Payment Date and Payment Source. View Bill 17 TEST ACCOUNT Test Account

Meter Readings Meter Readings will enable you to view and submit Meter Reads for a particular MPRN/GPRN. Meter Readings 18 Test Account

Submit a Meter Read To submit a Meter Read, enter your MPRN/GPRN. This will provide you with an overview of the Meter Serial Number, Meter Read Sequence, Timeslot and enable you to enter your Meter Read. Once you have entered your Meter Read, select ‘Submit Submit a Meter Read 19 TEST ACCOUNT Test Account

View Meter Reads To view all of your Meter Reads, enter your MPRN/GPRN and select ‘View’, this will provide an overview of the Meter read information. View Meter Reads 20 TEST ACCOUNT Test Account

Go to Premium By selecting “Go to Premium” premium customers can view detailed information about their energy usage and billing. 21 Go to Premium Test Account

Dashboard 1. The Account Selector This area shows the account that you are looking at. If you click on the drop down menu beside either Account ID or Account Name, you can switch between accounts. 2. Current Balance This shows your current balance with outstanding debt broken down by number of days. 3. Last Regular/Customer Read This gives an overview of sites where we have received a meter read - either from you or networks. It is colour codes: Green - last 6 months Yellow - last months Red - over 12 months We recommend that meter readings are provided frequently so that we can improve the accuracy of your bill. If you have an online meter your meter is read automatically and therefore will always be up to date Dashboard

4. Energy Consumption This screen highlights energy used over the last rolling 12 months and provides a comparison versus the previous 12 months, if you were an Energia customer. It also indicates the % of increase or decrease in consumption between the two comparative periods. The graph shows basic trends. 5. Expenditure excluding VAT This indicates the total expenditure ex VAT for the last 12 months, plus the same data for the previous 12 months, and the % increase or decrease between the two periods. Expenditure Tab Report Area Reports are shown in this area based on the filters that you have selected. This area defaults to the most popular report. The report title can be found on the top left of this area. Choose a report Various standard reports can be selected from this area. In the Expenditure tab there are 5 categories of reports available. These appear as buttons on the screen. You can click on any one to show your data. Any report you view can be exported to excel or print the report by using the buttons at the top right. 1. Detailed Report Drills into the information by MRPN for the period selected. 2. Summary Report Totals days billed consumption, average consumption per day, expenditure (excluding and including VAT) and average unit price. 3. Line Items Rates Breakdown of the charges on your bill by expenditure, consumption and average rate. 4. Expenditure Year-to-Year Details your total expenditure to date Expenditure Tab 24

1. Billed consumption and expenditure Bar and line graph explaining consumption and expenditure. 2. Year to Year Comparison based on the period selected. 3. Trends Provides an average consumption/expenditure per day across the period selected. 4. Line Item Trends Allows you to view Bill Line Items includes day rate,night rate, network charges etc. in a graph. By hovering over the dots you can view consumption and the expenditure amounts. 5. Energy Trends Tab Report Area The Trends tab will show you how your consumption, expenditure and usage profile have changed over a selected period. Particularly useful for year to year, or even month to month comparisons. This tab shows reports in chart form, so if you find it easier to view graphical trends rather than raw data. Why you may want to use it: To view trends in consumption by tariff. To see year by year expenditure trends. To compare your consumption trends with your expenditure trends. Extract any report into Excel for your own records 26 Test Account

Energy Consumption Tab The Consumption tab allows you to view your usage over a period of time. Why you may want to use it: To view your billed consumption for the current month. To compare consumption during certain periods or year to year. To compare usage on a site by site basis. To extract your consumption data to excel. 1. Consumption Year-to-Year Consumption for a group site is shown here as a % comparison of previous year available 2. Consumption Breakdown kWh Details in line graph form, showing the amount of day, night and heating units. 3. Consumption Ranking A bar chart showing consumption in ranking order per MPRN or Tariff. 4. Billed Energy Consumption Shows individual MPRN consumption listed as a sum total of the full account. The Meter Read tab shows when individual sites have had customer/network reads. These are colour-coded for ease of reference: Green - less than 6 months Yellow - between 6 & 12 months Red - more than 12 months Why you may want to use it: To manage sites that have not had a customer or network read in over 6 months. Reads can be taken and can be added online in order to increase the accuracy of your bill. 1. Meter Read Summary Outlines the last actual read, the last customer read and days since the last actual read. This information can also be viewed by site address. 2. Meter Read Detailed Report Provides meter serial number, type of meter, the read date and value of meter read. 3. Last Regular / Customer Read Heat Map Colour-coded map to advise customers of last actual reads at a quick glance. By hovering over each square, you will see MPRN, consumption amount and the amount of days since last actual read. The size of the box represents the consumption for that meter as a proportion of your overall usage i.e. the bigger the box the more consumption used relative to your other meters/sites. Bill Tab What this tab shows you: This will show your information for any bill produced while you are an Energia customer for the past 3 years. Why you may want to use it: To view your billed data for the current month. To access billed data for any business reason, including VAT amounts, charges etc. To extract the billed data into excel for your records. Three available reports: Charges This is a breakdown of the charges on the bill and a summary of the bill. Cancelled Charges If there have been any cancelled charges on the bill these will be shown on this report Adjustments Adjustments will be displayed in this report for example revised meter reads etc. Bill Tab 29 Test Account

How To Tab The How To Tab gives you some basic assistance on how to select data you wish to view and carry out basic navigation. If you have more detailed queries, this manual should cover the rest of what you will need. Of course if you get stuck or our documentation does not answer your needs you can call our Key Account Managers who are your Energia Online Premium support. They will be glad to assist and advise. 1. Action Toolbar The action toolbar allows you to perform various functions within Energia online premium. Clear your data selection. Go back or forward to previous selections. Lock or unlock the selection. Search for an account or MPRN. Bookmark a selection that you may wish to use regularly. View current data selections. Refresh screen. Print your current selection. Access Reports. Access Help. Bookmarks Bookmarks are a very handy tool in Energia online premium - they allow you to save your selections that you view on a regular basis. You can use this for a group of sites or for specific frequently used reports. 1 How To Tab 30

1.APPARENT POWER KVAH:Product of the voltage (volts) and current (amperes) in a circuit and is measured in kilavolt amperes (kVA) 2.AUP:Annual Unit Price. 3.Capacity Charge:A charge based upon the electric capacity (or demand in kW) used during the customer's highest 15-minute demand (kW) 4.Cost Centre Code:Codes provides by the customer for accounting purposes 5.Estimate Read:Estimated read created by our based on your average previous usage over the past 12 months 6.First Rate:The rate applying to the first 4000 units you use in each billing period - generally applies to GP/GPNS accounts only. 7.GMPRN:Group Meter Point Reference Number is a group reference number over a number of MPRNs in the Unmetered Market only. 8.GPRN:Gas Point Reference Number. Number allocated to the site for the meter. 9.HH:Half Hour. Usually used in the context of Half Hourly Data, i.e. half hourly consumption figures. Only applicable to Half Hourly Meters. 10.Line Items Rates:Each line on your bill (e.g. day rate, night rate, standing charge) is a bill-line item. The rate for each of these items is a Line Item Rate. 11.Load Factor:% of load capacity by month by month. 12.LVMD:Low Voltage Maximum Demand. 13.Max Demand:Maximum demand (often referred to as MD) is the largest current normally carried by circuits, switches and protective devices 14.MPRN:Meter Point Reference Number. Number allocated to the site for the meter. 15.Next Rate:The rate applied to all units used over and above the first 4000 for a billing period. Generally applies to GP/GPNS accounts only. 16.Night Rate:The rate applied to units used during the night, usually between 11pm and 8am. 17.Peak Units:Units used during peak demand times for your site. 18.Power Factor:Power factor is expressed as an integer which is normally less than one. Power factor is calculated by dividing true power (meter or billed consumption) by apparent power. 19.Power Factor Threshold:Point over which if you go over your pre-agreed threshold you will be charged additional network charges. 20.PSO Levy:Public Service Order levy. A government levied charge passed on by suppliers to customers. 21.Reactive Power kVArh:Term used to describe the loss of power in an electrical system arising from the production of electric and magnetic fields and is expressed as kVArh. 22.Regular Read:Also called Actual Read. A read taken by a networks meter reader. 23.Service Capacity Charge:Charge for amount of maximum import capacity. 24.Standing Charge:Networks charges for connection to the grid/network. 25.True Power kWh:Describes meter or billed unit consumption and is measured in kWh (kilowatt hours) 26.Unmetered:Electricity supply to a point without a meter. Generally refers to public lighting. Glossary 31
