 Background ◦ Project Scope  Replace existing Tungsten light source with LED  Retain the existing lighting points  Recreate exactly the same lighting feel  Compatible with existing DMX control system  Seamless dimming to zero  Viable ROI

 Nottingham Energy Performance Contract E.ON secured a contract under the RE:FIT Framework to deliver an EPC for Nottingham City Council. £1.2M Investment to deliver a 26% energy saving across 8 buildings, including Leisure Centres, Care Homes and a Sports Stadium. All savings guaranteed for 7 years in order to pay back the original investment. One of the 8 Buildings is the Royal Concert Hall.

Outcome – Theatre Prospective LED/energy saving houselights and dimming, the bottom 10% Maintenance and consumable savings (700 bulb changes a year previously) Audience reaction to the change
