Features and benefits Double Ended – wiring schematic requires line wired to one end and neutral to the other eliminating any shock hazard associated with single ended direct wire tubes. Less expensive to install than single ended. No polarity - can be installed into any fixture in any direction. No Ballast Required - wired directly into V bypassing the existing ballast that may fail or may not be compatible. Lower cost of ownership than Type A lamps with potential ballast replacement. Flexible - compatible with both shunted and non-shunted sockets, removing the expense of replacing the existing sockets. Replaces medium bi-pin T8 or T12 fluorescent lamps in existing fixtures. Economical Simple Installation in 5 minutes and 20 seconds for a 4-lamp fixture. Reliable Long Life - 50,000 hour expected life; not dependent on the life of an existing ballast like Type A lamps. 4-foot Type B Lamps will meet the DLC rating.

5 LEDlescent™ T8 Ballast-Free Lamps Wiring Diagram
Open until both ends are engaged in the socket; prevents shock LINE NEUTRAL Safety “switch” technology prevents current across the lamp when only one end is engaged “Double Ended” - Wire Line to one end, Neutral to the other No polarity: lamp can be installed in either direction Different than other models on the market (single ended, shock hazard) No issues with installing fluorescent lamps back into fixture (no light, burn out coil) Name indicates lamp is different than SubstiTUBE (no ordering mistakes)

6 LEDlescent™ T8 Ballast-Free Lamps - Installation
Installation requires that a caution / warning sticker be applied Indicates fixture was modified. Informs any person after initial modification that this is no longer suitable to operate fluorescent lamps. Provides information on appropriate lamp for modified fixture LED17T8/L48/FG/841/BF
