New Graduate Fellowship Award Amount: $1,000 per year To qualify, students must: – Be accepted to a degree-seeking program at UT Tyler by May 1st – Be in your first semester of graduate school at UT Tyler – Students must have a 3.25 GPA on the last 60 hours of their undergraduate coursework. – Enroll full-time (9 credit hours for the semester awarded) Scholarship funds are limited Meeting minimum requirements does not guarantee an award Application Deadlines: – Fall - May 1 st – Spring - November 1 st

Tuition Waivers Research Assistant/Teaching Assistant – Prior to 1st day of class, we will accept a letter (or ) from the Department stating that student is working as a Teaching or Research Assistant for a minimum of 19.5 hours/week. – Deadline is the 12th Day of Class. – Effective date of employment must be on or before the official “first class day”.
