6 Information Technology Student Laboratories and Studios The Faculty has over 40 computing laboratories across four campuses: –All PC’s dual boot to Windows XP or Linux –24 hours computer labs are in Building B - Level 3 –Studio labs are in Building K1.07, K1.08 and K1.10 –Students need to apply for 24 hours computer labs and studio at: eform/

7 Information Technology Logging into Laboratory Computers Remember your username is unique and is based on your full name. –For eg. glam3 Your Novell password is the same as your Authcate.

8 Information Technology Printing –12 cents for Black & White (A4 size) –50 cents for Colour (A4 size) –1 dollar for Colour (A3 size) Printing Tips –Check your account balance –Paper size –Select the correct printer before printing
