4 Password Reset Manager Allows you to reset your password over the Internet if you forget it or think it has been compromised Setting up your profile Visit www.marjon.ac.uk/email and follow the link to Password Reset Manager OR http://prm.marjon.ac.uk for direct accesswww.marjon.ac.uk/emailhttp://prm.marjon.ac.uk Next slide

5 Your password will NOT expire Password Create a new password Must be 14 characters in length Must contain upper/lower case characters, numbers and symbols

9 Task Open and save a copy of this ‘Introduction to learning @ the University’ presentation into your user area (N: drive) 1.Click the start button 2.Click Computer 3.Double click drive (V:) 4.Locate the presentation & double click to open it 5.Click File -> Save as and select your N: drive 6.Click Save Next slide

10 Task Access the Password Reset Manager to set up your profile 1. Go to slide 4 of this presentationslide 4 2. Click the ‘slide show’ tab 3. Click ‘from current slide’ 4. 12 Printing & photocopying You can print or photocopy documents on Campus using any networked Multi Function Device (MFD) These are not free Purchasing print credits Library Issue Counter and Shop Cost Credits can be purchased for £1 or £5 Colour 16p, black & white 5p per page For more complicated printing visit the Copy ShopCopy Shop NOTE: This section may not apply to distance learners but still good to know about! 16 Turnitin (e- Submission) Turnitin is used at the University for the e- Submission of assignments Your module course page will have details of assignments and due dates You are allowed to submit over a 2 week period leading up to the hand in date (2 weeks following hand in date for late submissions) To submit an assignment, you click the assignment name/turnitin icon on the relevant module page – e.g. e-Submission guidance is available in LSHelp LSHelp
