3 Obtaining your library card E-vision –Upload photo, print boarding pass Take boarding pass and photo ID to the Student Office (WA Block) Return to the Lending Services Help Desk (Learning Centre) to get your Library/ID card PIN number should be emailed to you

4 Registering for your IT account Campus PC’s At the login screen type register for both the user name and password Follow the onscreen instructions Off campus Visit: register.wlv.ac.uk/register.asp Follow the instructions Provides: IT username and password E-mail address Printing account

10 Finding Books To find a particular book Surname of author + First word or two of title

11 Finding Books To find books on a particular subject Use a Keyword Search

12 Finding Electronic Books You can limit your search to e-books only using the Collection menu

13 Journals and journal articles Looking for a particular article or journal title –OPAC –Electronic Journals A-Z –Search for the title of the journal e.g. You want to find the following article: Whitty, G.
