Summing up Teacher’s interaction with selected pupil or Writing and Independent Work Focused Word Work – sentence pattern, grammar item, pronunciation, spelling, word attack skills Introduce lesson by using a Dialogue, Role Play etc. Reading, Chants, Songs, Poems 15 mins 10 mins 20 mins Review, reflect, consolidate, what has been taught during the lesson Teacher reads a book together with the pupils Teacher works with 2 groups per day on a specific area that needs attention. Ani is chopping up a mango and Liza is putting it into the bowl.

Ani is chopping up a papaya and putting them into a bowl.

Ani is chopping up an apple and putting them into a bowl.

Ani is chopping up an orange and putting the small pieces into a bowl.

Liza is putting in some grapes into the bowl.

Liza is adding some sugar to the fruits.

Ani is pouring some water into the bowl.

Ani and Liza are stirring the fruits. Stir, stir, stir.

Now, Ani is adding some ice – cream to the fruits.

Ani and Liza are tasting it.

Their mother is joining them to eat the fruit salad. Yum, yum, yum.
