What is an Interactive Notebook? A tool to strengthen the learning process through increased student participation & writing Creative way used at home & in class daily to help you learn chemistry Uses both the right and left brain

Right Side Of The Notebook Will Be Used For New Information CALM Homework Topics and question id numbers Demonstration/ Lab data Vocabulary Podcast Notes This is your INPUT! All the information you are supposed to learn!

Left Side Of The Notebook Will Be Used For Showing Understanding CALM : work to assigned problems Analysis & Conclusion parts of labs Thinking Maps Reflections/Writing Prompts Drawings Podcast Problems This is your OUTPUT!

How to SETUP your Notebook! Put your name on the outside of the book. The first page will be the cover page for the book. Place your Name and Period. Always write the date & title of the activity at the start of each activity which will be entered in a continuous manner. The right side will only be odd number pages and the left will only be even number pages

For problems that you need help on or want to come back to at a later date, list the CALM ID next to the problem number.
