Year 7 Design Technology Homework Task Sheet Situation: The Olympic games is a fantastic sporting event which brings together a number of countries and cultures to compete in what is the biggest spectacle in the sporting world. The event starts with a huge opening ceremony that is shown on TV across the world. All countries that compete showcase their culture at the ceremony and present their athletes to the rest of the world. Task: You have been asked by the Olympic committee to design a menu for the main cafeteria. Your menu must have a range of foods including healthy options, vegetarian options and multicultural foods. Brief: You must design a menu that has a range of foods included. It must also have drinks and puddings. It should be on a piece of A4 paper that is folded in half. The front cover must have the cafeteria name on and an Olympic theme logo. You need to research what foods athletes should eat and you can also look at prices of take away foods. Points to think about What healthy foods can you think of What multicultural foods will you include What vegetarian foods could you include
