1. Build your team Work with each individual’s gifts Not everyone is a stage hound Ask for contributions & build with the skills 2. Decide which play you want to re-present 3. Write a GROUP goal statement We are going to work with Shakespeare’s ____, producing a _________ with/by ________. (or something similar) Start

4. Assign roles of responsibility Who does what? Turn in the goal and role paper (very important!) 5. Brainstorm ideas 6. Write a script (rough draft) 7. Share that script so it doesn’t go A.W.O.L.! Next steps

9. Get going on the quizzes. Remember, work together! The point of the quizzes is to make sure each of your team members KNOWS the show thoroughly. You’ll also see terms on the quizzes. The quizzes are entirely open book. You may open scripts, grab copies from the shelf, & use your notes. Be resourceful! And the Paperwork

While this assignment does NOT require extensive scenery, you should think about the props you may need, and decide whether you will “costume” your characters. You may also need materials for your advertisement. The ad can be simple but should be an effective attention-getter. Spend NO money! Be resourceful! Props, Costumes, & Scenery

1.Check the website & Blackboard Learn. 2.Reread and develop the script. 3.Involve everyone! 4.Rehearse both informally and formally. 5.Be creative and generous. 6.Bring your best self to class! A Daily Checklist
