You may use ONLY the following websites to find your articles:

4. Found Your Article? Once you have found a great article:
Read it thoroughly
Look up any unknown words in the dictionary
Think about how it relates to what we have already learned in class
Pick out the main ideas of the article

5. Create Your Own Quiz!
Based on the information in your article you must create a quiz for the other students in your group
Your quiz must contain 5-7 questions on important information in your article
Use the following format as a guide:

After your quiz is complete, raise your hand for help to print it

6. Quiz Time!
After you have printed three copies of your quiz, you must fill in the answers to one of them for an answer key so you can grade the others
Now return to your group
You will take turns reading your articles to each other
Once you have read your article, give your quiz to the other members of your group
You will also take their quizzes when they have read their articles

7. Quiz Check
After your group takes your quiz, use your answer key to check their answers
If they make mistakes, explain what they answered incorrectly and help them fix it
When everyone has read their articles and taken all of the quizzes in the group, your group will work together to add more to the KWL chart
You can each add more to the “L” or “Learn” column based on what you learned from each other’s articles

8. Share With the Class
When your are done adding to your charts, each group will present their new facts in the “L” column to the rest of the class
If you are not presenting, you should be adding what the other groups share to your own KWL chart
When everyone is done, we will print fresh copies of your KWL charts for you to use in the future
