Input-Processing-Output

This is your handout. You will only be using the boxes going across here and the ones at the left and right side that say Examples:

INPUT The first step is INPUT – getting the information into the computer system.

INPUT PROCESSING (CPU) The second step is PROCESSING (CPU) – which is what the computer does to the information once it is put into the computer.

INPUT PROCESSING (CPU) OUTPUT The third and final step is OUTPUT – getting the information OUT of the computer system once it has been processed.

INPUT PROCESSING (CPU) OUTPUT input There are many ways to get information into the computer system. They will go listed under INPUT. First fill in the blank under Examples:

INPUT PROCESSING (CPU) OUTPUT input Now fill in the area underneath with the peripherals listed. These are the different devices used to get information INTO a computer system. Keyboard Graphics Tablet Mouse Touch Screen Joystick Bar Code Readers Digital Camera Scanner Video Camera Web Camera Microphone

INPUT PROCESSING (CPU) OUTPUT input Keyboard Graphics Tablet Mouse Touch Screen Joystick Bar Code Readers Digital Camera Scanner Video Camera Web Camera Microphone output There are many ways to get information OUT OF the computer system. They will go listed under OUTPUT. First fill in the blank under Examples:

These are the different devices used to get information OUT OF a computer system once the computer has processed it. output Keyboard Graphics Tablet Mouse Touch Screen Joystick Bar Code Readers Digital Camera Scanner Video Camera Web Camera Microphone Monitor Printer Robot Speakers Headphones Digital Projector

INPUT PROCESSING (CPU) OUTPUT input This presentation showed the process a computer goes through when processing data as well as peripherals used for INPUT and OUTPUT purposes. output Keyboard Graphics Tablet Mouse Touch Screen Joystick Bar Code Readers Digital Camera Scanner Video Camera Web Camera Microphone Monitor Printer Robot Speakers Headphones Digital Projector

INPUT PROCESSING (CPU) OUTPUT input Now we will look at the way a computer processes that data once it is PUT IN to the computer and before we get it back OUT. output Keyboard Graphics Tablet Mouse Touch Screen Joystick Bar Code Readers Digital Camera Scanner Video Camera Web Camera Microphone Monitor Printer Robot Speakers Headphones Digital Projector
