In Our Beloved Egypt and our beloved Islamic countries we have Eid al-Adha  . We slaughter the animals such as buffalo meat, sheep then we guides it the needy people . Such as our religion taught . And we have the first Parliament elections after our blessed revolution . My father is one of the Candidate of "Freedom And Justice Party" in the elections . In America they have two major holidays coming up.  The first is Halloween on October 31.  Halloween first started with the Celts celebrated their new years eve on the 31st.  They would dress up and have a great celebration.  Children dress up in costumes and go around from house to house to try and get candy and other treats.

Here in Egypt We celebrate the memory of glorious October victory It's on 6th October . It is the memory of our victory in the war against Israel in 1973. This day is a symbol of freedom in Egypt. The other big holiday is Thanksgiving, celebrated on November 24 This holiday started when the Pilgrims (people who came to America for religious freedom) invited the Native Americans to a great feast. This was a symbol of peace and brotherhood. Michael celebrates Thanksgiving by inviting family and friends for turkey and other foods.

The best thing about living here is my family and my friends who are the best friends in the world. Our country has a lot of landmarks and places , if you want something historical you can visit the pyramids or temples in Luxor. If you want something modern you can visit Cairo Tower or go shopping in malls. And for people who like nature like you ,you can visit Sinai or Aswan . Michael has something similar called Brookgreen Gardens.  Brookgreen Gardens is a beautiful place.  It is like a museum, in the sense that it has sculptures, artwork, wildlife in their natural habitat, and great history.   Michael thinks that Brookgreen Gardens is even a National Landmark.  It is only thirty minutes from where he lives, so he has been there many times.  He used to take field trips there when he was younger.
