What is Gender? Socially constructed binary -Male (sex) = masculine (gender) Female (sex) = feminine (gender) Role: Doctor or nurse? Behavior: Wear pants or a skirt? Activities: Play with trucks or dolls? Attribute: Assertive or submissive? ¤
