STRATEGIC PROJECTS 2018-2019 APPLICATIONS CHIETA, The Catalyst for Enhanced Skills, Economic Growth and Employability STRATEGIC PROJECTS 2018-2019 APPLICATIONS Opening date of application window: 01 June 2018 Closing date of application window : 30 June 2018 Applicants must complete the 2018/19 Cycle 2 Discretionary Grants application online through the CHIETA DG System (IT Aware) Hard copies of the application and all the relevant supporting documentation must be submitted to the relevant CHIETA Regional Office by the 30th of June 2018 at 16h00

CHIETA internal bursary Free State Education Trust CHIETA, The Catalyst for Enhanced Skills, Economic Growth and Employability BURSARY PROJECTS CHIETA internal bursary NSFAS Free State Education Trust Applications for the CHIETA bursary scheme will open on 02 June 2018 and close on 31 July 2018 Adverts will be published in a number of newspapers and CHIETA website CHIETA has continued the partnership with NSFAS and will fund bursaries for 95 students in the 2018 academic year Students will be recruited from the NSFAS database CHIETA has again partnered with Free State Education Trust to co-fund 85 bursaries for top 2017 Matriculants in the Free State Province These students are now registered at various tertiary institutions in the 2018 academic year

VOUCHER PROJECT 2017/2018 UPDATE CHIETA, The Catalyst for Enhanced Skills, Economic Growth and Employability VOUCHER PROJECT 2017/2018 UPDATE The Voucher Project will no longer be implemented from 2018/2019. Applications for Skills programmes must be done through the DG applications VOUCHER PROJECT 2018/2019

TRADE UNION MEMBER TRAINING PROJECTS CHIETA, The Catalyst for Enhanced Skills, Economic Growth and Employability TRADE UNION MEMBER TRAINING PROJECTS TULP (Trade Union Learning Practitioner) training is offered by University of Johannesburg. It aims to equip trade union members with the knowledge and skills needed to better support the Human Resource Development initiatives within the workplace TUPQ (Trade Union Practice Qualification) training is offered by Ditsela Workers Education Institute. It is aimed at increasing levels of efficiency, effectiveness, coordination and professionalism within the trade union movement. Currently 20 Trade union members enrolled for TULP and 35 members for TUPQ
