CHIETA, The Catalyst for Enhanced Skills, Economic Growth and Employability Discretionary Grant timeframes DG-2017/2018-Cycle-1 Tranche 1a  Tranche 1b Tranche 2 Tranche 3 MOA’s expire on the 28th February 2019 No further MOA’s will be accepted. All evidence had to be submitted no later than 15th May 2018 to GMU for processing. All evidence had to be submitted no later than 15th June 2018 to GMU for processing. All evidence had to be submitted no later than 15th January 2019 to GMU for processing.

GMU to submit to finance by 25 June 2018. All evidence had to be submitted no later than 28th September 2018 to GMU for processing. All evidence must be submitted no later than 15th February 2019 to GMU for processing. All evidence must be submitted no later than 15th September 2019 to GMU for processing.

CHIETA, The Catalyst for Enhanced Skills, Economic Growth and Employability Discretionary Grant timeframes SP /2019 Cycle 2 - Strategic Tranche 1a Tranche 1b  Tranche 2 Tranche 3 MOA’s started 29th August 2018 – MOA’s expire on the 28th February 2020   All of MOA’s signed by 28 September 2018 and submitted to SP by 01 October 2018 for payment. SP to submit to finance by 12 October 2018. All evidence must be submitted no later than 30th November 2018 to GMU for processing. All evidence must be submitted no later than 15th February 2019 to SP for processing. All evidence must be submitted no later than 15th November 2019 to SP for processing.

13 DG contract management and challenges
Project deliverables must be submitted as stipulated in the signed MOA. MOA’s have an expiry date – Tranches can’t be processed after the expiry date. Evidence must be relevant and within the timeframe (current financial year is 01 April March 2019) Recruitment of learners and Induction . To be done soon after submitting MOA’s within timeframes. Learners to be given full induction – must know rules and regulations. Learner contracts must be completed in full before the programme starts and submitted with all attachments. ID copies must be legible and certified. Accurate names of programmes and codes. All signatures and initials. Accurate start and end dates. Change requests. Not ideal – they disrupt CHIETA plans and targets. Must be submitted within 3 months of MOA submission. Can’t be accepted after Tranche 1b has been processed.
