3 FUNDING WINDOWOBJECTIVE AND TARGETED NUMBER OF LEARNERS GRANT AMOUNT PER LEARNER PER ANNUM TRANCHE PAYMENTS/ DELIVERABLES Skills Programmes 18.1 and 18.2 To facilitate and support the registration of employed and unemployed learners on credit bearing Skills Programmes. 18.1 = 3400 18.2 = 1500 18.1 = R5,000 18.2 = R7,000 Tranche 1a: 15% Tranche 1b: 45% Tranche 2: 40% Bursaries – Undergraduate 18.1 and 18.2 To facilitate and support the registration of unemployed and employed learners on under graduate studies in the chemical sector related fields of study and other fields of study that is a need in the sector, as identified in the SSP 18.1 = 270 18.2 = 450 18.1 = R30,000 18.2 = R45,000 Prioritise tuition Tranche 1a: 15% - Proof of acceptance at institution and ID copy Tranche 1b: 45% - Proof of enrolment and Fee Statement Tranche 2: 40% - Exam admission letter (and on completion statement of results) 3

4 FUNDING WINDOWOBJECTIVE AND TARGETED NUMBER OF LEARNERS GRANT AMOUNT PER LEARNER PER ANNUM TRANCHE PAYMENTS/ DELIVERABLES Bursaries – Post Graduate 18.1 and 18.2 To facilitate and support the registration of unemployed and employed learners on post graduate studies in the chemical sector related fields of study and other fields of study that is a need in the sector, as identified in the SSP Post graduate covers Masters, Doctorates and Post doctorares both coursework and research. 18.1 and 18.2 = 26 0 – R60,000Tranche 1a: 15% - Proof of acceptance at institution and ID copy Tranche 1b: 45% - Proof of enrolment Tranche 2: 40% - Proof of acceptance of dissertation framework Recognition of Prior Learning ( RPL) Artisan Related and Non Artisan Related 18.1 and 18.2 To facilitate and support the registration of employed and unemployed learners on artisan and non artisan RPL programmes 18.1 and 18.2 = 1000 0 - R20,000Tranche 1a: 15% Tranche 1b: 45% Tranche 2: 40% 4

5 WIL FUNDING WINDOWOBJECTIVE AND TARGETED NUMBER OF LEARNERS GRANT AMOUNT PER LEARNER PER ANNUM TRANCHE PAYMENTS/ DELIVERABLES Work Integrated Learning – WIL (ONLY 18.2) To facilitate and support the placement of unemployed learners in industry in the chemical sector related fields of study and other fields of study that is a need in the sector, as identified in the SSP WIL range: Work Experience (WBL) Placement for Employment (WP) Provisioning: University of Technology TVET Colleges HET WIL - UOT WBL and WP is for 6 months period at a time = 550 WBL and WP = R18,000 Tranche 1a: 15% Tranche 1b: 45% Tranche 2: 20% Tranche 3: 20% WIL - TVET WBL and WP is for 12 months period at a time = 750 WBL and WP = R24,000 Tranche 1a: 15% Tranche 1b: 45% Tranche 2: 20% Tranche 3: 20% WIL - HET WBL and WP is for 6 months period at a time = 150 WBL and WP = R28.800 Tranche 1a: 15% Tranche 1b: 45% Tranche 2: 20% Tranche 3: 20% 5

6 FUNDING WINDOWOBJECTIVE AND TARGETED NUMBER OF LEARNERS GRANT AMOUNT PER LEARNER PER ANNUM TRANCHE PAYMENTS/ DELIVERABLES Successful Programme Entered and Completion Incentive/Co-funding To facilitate and support through grant incentive, the employers or enterprises who have self-funded and successfully registered learners and completed training on CHIETA learning programmes in any of the approved CHIETA funding windows within the 2015/2017 FY 50% of Relevant funding window grant will apply. Relevant Tranches and deliverables will apply. 6
