Project Overview HWB (Health & Well Being) Abertawe is a project offering practical support and advice about healthy eating to people who may never have cooked for themselves or their families, who have little or no knowledge of the nutritional value of food and who would benefit from raising their awareness of how to increase their physical activity levels. Taking a whole family approach, HWB Abertawe we deliver a 6 week healthy lifestyle programme to ….

Families within their homes..

....groups within community settings

.....and in Schools

We can offer:- 6 week Programme Community Workshops Training and Support Programme for Organisations Volunteering opportunities

Our programme and activities are based on the “Eatwell Guide”

As well as...... Food Standards Agency

How HWB Abertawe will work with beneficiaries:- Beneficiaries co-design programme delivery prior to starting; Programme will be relevant to their needs and achievable within their means; Solution focussed team of staff who are committed to supporting families and individuals; Work with families to help them remove barriers to a healthier lifestyle.
