Lab Guidelines

Things to remember: 1. You may talk to the members in your group but you may NOT talk with members of other groups. ( It does not matter if you are discussing the lab).

Ask your group members first!! 2. ONLY ask me a question AFTER the members of your group have talked about it first….You must raise your hand…DO NOT call my name.

Only one person up at a time!! 3. Only one person from the group can be out of his/her seat to get supplies, etc.

CLEAN UP !!!!! 4. Put things back where you found them. 5. Your lab area ( table and floor) should be clean when you are finished. 6. Leave things BETTER than what you found them.

Ask permission !!!! 7. DON’T EVER leave the room without my permission. ( We wash hands after some labs but you need my permission).

Flames require everyone seated. 8. When we are working with a flame, EVERYBODY must be seated. DO NOT get out of your seat.

Don’t lose points….. You will lose lab points if these rules aren’t followed.
